About Abigail Nicholson
Who am I?
I am a passionate 20-year-old film student and I've been captivated by the world of cinema since I was a junior in high school. Since then, I have actively sought out opportunities to better my techniques as a filmmaker. My primary focus is cinematography, I thrive on the creative freedom that comes with developing shots for every project I work on.
Experience
While I had some experience writing, directing, filming, and editing in high school, it wasn’t until college that I started to truly understand all aspects that go into filmmaking. As a freshman, I worked on two short films for the film club, serving first as a production assistant on the first and director of photography on the second.
My sophomore year, I was hired as a videographer for the Emerald Media Group where I continue to work on projects covering campus events and filming for businesses in the community. Additionally, I enrolled in production courses where I learned specific techniques for narrative and documentary filmmaking.
