Samples from classes

Beyond the Glitter

I served as cinematographer and co-editor on a short film documentary about a drag queen based in Portland and Eugene Oregon. My classmate directed the film and also served as the other co-editor.

Project Partners

I served as writer, director, and editor for this short narrative film about a group project gone bad. This project was for my Narrative Production class.

The Art of Art, Jordan Schnitzer Museum

This is the first college film I created, and I served in all filming roles. It is a short documentary film about the history of the art museum on the University of Oregon campus.

Work Samples from the emerald media group

Best of Campus

As a videographer for the Emerald Media Group, I work on various events hosted by the Emerald. Most of these events are on campus and feature a multitude of vendors. In all of these linked videos, I had to follow a template which gives less creative freedom but the experience has been integral in honing my camera skills, leading shoots and effectively working with clients.

Eugene Drag Scene

In these last two links, I worked with Ethos Magazine to bring their news stories to life. These projects had much more creative freedom and I was able to make my own decisions for what was filmed. We worked hands on with the writers of both stories.

Personal work

Niveles

Inspired by the class differences in the United States, this short film was the second project I've worked on with this director. I had the amazing opportunity to be her Director of Photography. During production, the director, my assistant, and I collaborated extensively to determine the perfect shots to convey her vision. This is still one of my favorite projects and helped me acclimate to being on a film set.
